    • values

      public static AssociationType[] values()
      Returns an array containing the constants of this enum class, in the order they are declared.
      Returns:
      an array containing the constants of this enum class, in the order they are declared
    • valueOf

      public static AssociationType valueOf(String name)
      Returns the enum constant of this class with the specified name. The string must match exactly an identifier used to declare an enum constant in this class. (Extraneous whitespace characters are not permitted.)
      Parameters:
      name - the name of the enum constant to be returned.
      Returns:
      the enum constant with the specified name
      Throws:
      IllegalArgumentException - if this enum class has no constant with the specified name
      NullPointerException - if the argument is null
    • wireString

      public String wireString()
      The lowercase string used in Schema Registry's association data structures (e.g., the associationType field of AssociationInfo / AssociationCreateOp on the SR REST API). Serialized via Jackson by JsonValue for any AssociationConfig that's emitted as JSON.
    • tryFromWireString

      public static Optional<AssociationType> tryFromWireString(String s)
      Returns the matching enum value, or Optional.empty() if the input is not a recognized association type (including null). Callers that need a non-null AssociationType should unwrap explicitly and handle the empty case — the enum value is non-null everywhere it's stored (e.g. as a field of AssociationConfig).
