Interface ExternalSchemaUpdater

Functional Interface:
This is a functional interface and can therefore be used as the assignment target for a lambda expression or method reference.

Sets the external-schema type to MAYBE for the named topics, before their Schema Registry associations are created. Wired by the caller to the controller, which is where names resolve to ids.

The returned list is POSITIONAL to topicNames: the i-th ApiError is the i-th name's outcome. A failure means the handler will not associate that topic in Schema Registry.

validateOnly performs no write and returns one NONE per name.
