getMetric

getMetricsData

public io.opentelemetry.proto.metrics.v1.MetricsData getMetricsData()

Construct a MetricsData by binding the underlying Metric to the Resource from the Context.

The result of this function is memoized internally. In practice, this allows multiple instances of KafkaExporter (SBC and Cloud) to reuse the same MetricsData object, reducing garbage creation.
