java.lang.Object
io.confluent.kafka.schemaregistry.type.logical.policy.Incompatibility

public class Incompatibility extends Object
A single schema-evolution violation found by LogicalTypeChecker.compare(io.confluent.kafka.schemaregistry.type.logical.policy.LogicalTypeChecker.Mode, io.confluent.kafka.schemaregistry.type.logical.LogicalType, io.confluent.kafka.schemaregistry.type.logical.LogicalType).

Carries a machine-readable Incompatibility.Rule plus the path of the offending field so callers can surface the exact location rather than a whole-schema failure.

Every rule here concerns the change between two schemas. A schema that no consumer can use regardless of what preceded it yields an Invalidity instead.

Path syntax: field names are dot-joined, [] denotes an array element, and {} denotes a map value. For example order.items[].price.
